Transition from Activity to Rest to Get a Good Night's Sleep

Do you wake up tired, spend all day waiting to go to bed, only to find yourself unable to fall asleep? Do you wake up in the middle of the night, and stay awake due to a chattering mind? Does deep, restorative sleep elude you?
If so, you are not alone. In fact, it’s very common. But, just because something is common, doesn’t mean it is normal. Accepting it is to deny yourself the vitality that consistent sleep brings.
Modern culture is masculine. All day we go, do, accomplish, produce. Sleep is the nectar of the Goddess. Feminine, cooling, healing, restorative, nurturing.
The balance of both will give you the stamina to do the things your daily life requires without becoming exhausted. When the level of rest you receive matches the output of energy you expend you thrive.
So, how can you start getting a better night’s sleep?
Just as the sun slowly sinks into darkness, you can consciously transition from activity to rest.
You deserve to feel rested and restored.
Sweet dreams dear ones!
